A short while ago, "Grandmother" Moon presented herself in the sign of Scorpio. Even though I am posting this episode a few days after the exact Full Moon, the energetic and vibrational message continues.
The lunar message from this particular full moon takes us into the inner realm via self exploration. What this means in plain language, if your desire is to change and move through you life in a different and more aligned way, you will need to undertake going into your own interior world.
In other words, this sign signals the time to go beyond what we see in the outer world. Some of the key descriptors of this sign, of course are linked with the astrological house, number 8 and with the guidance/rulership provide by the planets, Mars and Pluto.
In our astrological charts, the house(s) presents the area of life where this deep exploration and inner journey takes place. So, with this Scorpio full moon, the quest becomes one of examining and being willing to full out, begin the process of reclaiming those aspects of self that have been disavowed, disconnected and generally hidden from consciousness.
Basically this is the area in our chart... the environment within ourselves that has often been emotionally neglected, mostly because of the fears and beliefs of how other people might perceive our actions, values, abilities, or anything that has meaning for you. In other words, this Full Moon ask us to face how we have stop loving one's self.
In current and popular discussion there's a lot of hype about doing "shadow work". What does this mean? In great part, it is about creating an opportunity to turn inward for awhile, and begin the work of accepting and believing in ourselves. It's about feeling uncomfortable with some of your most powerful parts of ourselves. It's about intuitively feeling your way into what has value and meaning in your life.
In this episode, I give some examples of how the "Scorpio process" begins the "death, rebirth and transformation". Even though the cosmic event of this moon has moved on, in fact I called this moon, the "Shining Essence Moon", the energy of recognizing yourself continues. This lunar cycle is ongoing. What we learn and embody from phase to phase is what gives our lives "depth and breath".
In this lunar cycle, the "Scorpio Superpower" is to illuminate "self-love".
